Meet Kelsey
Kelsey is a certified dog trainer through the Victoria Stillwell Academy (VSA-CDT) and has earned her Certified Professional Dog Trainer with Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) certification. She has also completed the Aggression in Dogs course to deepen her understanding of dog behavior.
An avid animal lover, Kelsey has worked in the animal industry for over 10 years and currently volunteers as a foster and medical coordinator with a local rescue organization.
Kelsey believes in using positive reinforcement training, as it takes a progressive, science-based approach to solve behavior problems and strengthen the bond between you and your dog.
Her training journey began when her own dog displayed reactive behaviors, motivating her to learn how to help him overcome these challenges. While seeking assistance from local trainers, she found that their methods were not compatible with her dog's needs, as he required an understanding human to teach him that the world was not scary. This realization prompted her to delve deeper into the dog training industry and embark on her journey to becoming a trainer.
Kelsey’s mission is to help you grow your bond with your dog and bring out the best in them. She understands that every dog is unique, and embracing their individuality is what makes them special. Her goal is to ensure that YOU are the most important person in the room to your dog by equipping YOU with the tools to make it happen.
